McReefer Corals was established back in 2010 in a college dorm. Upon graduation, the business was taken to the next level. A designated grow system was built, but that quickly became too small for the operation. After moving to the Chicago area for a new job, a larger operation was created. We were here for 4 years, but then decided to move to Madison Wisconsin. This is where the dream was made a reality. A temperature controlled tank room designated for the business was created. The sky is the limit, so who knows what is next, but as of right now we have the same mindset, we are here to grow and sell some of the healthiest specimens in the trade!
100% Straight Aquaculture
When we first started, our stock was primarily imported. After a couple of years, I received feedback from customers that "the coral doesn't have the same color as when I first got it". This was unacceptable and the conclusion was made that wild corals need a "break in period" to settle and adjust to in home aquarium conditions. The business strategy was changed at this point to straight aquaculture. We strive to keep our specimens pest free. In proper aquarium environments, our corals will THRIVE right out of the bag!
Satisfaction Guaranteed
We guarantee that all of our specimens to arrive alive. If, for some reason, a specimen does not arrive alive, you must contact us via email, with a detailed pictures of the item within ONE HOUR of the package's arrival. If you are not present to sign for the package on the first delivery attempt, this guarantee becomes VOID. If, in our opinion, the item is deemed to be deceased or defective, a credit or a replacement (if available) will be added to your next order. Shipping costs will not be refunded in any event.
